Colonel Boris Pontekorvo of the 39th Assault Spetsnaz is adept at commanding combined forces. He was a member of the FSB (successor of the KGB) before becoming a member of the Spetsnaz Guard Brigade in 2010. While at the FSB he specialized in border security and counter-terrorism and developed close ties with the military that led to his current position in the SGB. He is known to focus on quick, efficient attacks and dislikes being on put in a defensive role.
