Colonel Jordan Taylor of the 35th Airborne JSF grew up in Phoenix, Arizona. He joined the US Army in 1989 and served in Gulf War I as well as Somalia and peacekeeping missions in the Balkans. He attended Airborne training at Fort Bragg and joined the 82nd Airborne, commanding a company and later a battalion in Iraq. Tactically, Taylor favors the use of attack helicopters and airborne infantry.
