Tom Clancy's EndWar: The Hunted is the second novel in the Tom Clancy's EndWar series. It was written under the pseudonym David Michaels and released on February 1 2011 by Berkley publishers. The plot gives a fictional account of World War III.
After a devastating nuclear exchange in the Middle East, America and Russia stand on opposite sides in the quest to control the world's natural resources. U.S. Special Forces Captain Alexander Brent and his Ghost Team team have been sent to capture the Snow Maiden, aka Viktoria Antsyforov, a former Russian Intelligence colonel and currently an operative of a secret group dedicated to world domination. It seems like a simple enough task for Brent and his team, but what they don't know is that the Snow Maiden has already been marked for termination by a terrorist faction. And when the two teams collide, it will be impossible to tell who is on which side-or if anyone will survive...
