- Two decks, carrying 1000 passengers or three M505 Spartans, parked side-by-side. Yes, the plane's massive two-piece 12m-wide loading bay allows for three Spartans to load up this way.
Alternatively, the C-2 can install refueling modules, allowing it to support two Boeing booms and two 60-ton self-sealing fuel tanks, turning it into the KC-2.
Sensory[]
Standard weather radar. A GPS Blue-force-tracker is standard.
Upgrades[]
None.
Armament[]
Uh, just don't shoot it down only to find that it's going to crash on you.
Upgrades[]
None.
Protection[]
The Albatross has a carbon-composite hull. This allows the interior to be kept more humid than typical aircraft, while also reducing the aircraft's weight. Chaff and flares are standard. A DRFM jammer suite is also standard.
Upgrades[]
None.
Mobility[]
The C-2 is powered by four Rolls-Royce Trent H100 high-bypass turbofans. One engine by itself can generate 352,000 N of thrust. It can carry a 150-ton load for up to 10,000km. Hilariously, thanks to it's fully-armed brethren, the sound or silhouette of one passing overhead is very demoralizing, and everyone starts to shoot at it.
