On the second floor balcony, across the courtyard, was a monster more horrible than anything I'd ever seen.
It was sort of like a centaur, with a woman's body from the waist up. But instead of a horse's lower body, it had the body of a dragon- at least twenty feet long, black and scaly with enormous claws and a barbed tail. Here legs looked like they were tangled in vines, but then I realized they were sprouting snakes, hundreds of vipers darting around, constantly looking for something to bite. The woman's hair was also made of snakes, like Medusa. Wierdest of all, around ger waist, where the woman part met the dragon part, her skin bubbled and morphed, occasionally producing the heads of animals- a vicious wolf, a bear, a lion, as if she were wearing a belt of ever-changing creatures. I got the feeling that I was looking at something half-formed, a monster so old it was from the beginning of time, before shapes had been fully defined.
-Battle of the Labyrinth
Big, fat, ancient flying monster. The C-130 Heracles fits these three requirements: it's big, fat, and over 75 years old.
The FCI operated 1000 Kampes in 2034.

Main Armament[]
The Kampe transport can carry two Basilisk APCs, or four Centaurs. Alternatively it can move 64 fully-loaded soldiers. The greatest difference between FCI transports and the rest of them is that the FCI merges the pylon-turn gunship with the transport. Meaning, the FCI cut two holes in the left-side lower fuselage and mounted three M61 Vulcan 20mm Gatlings in each of them.
M61A2 Vulcan[]
Named after the Roman god of fire, the M61A2 is able to spit out 6,000 20mm rounds a minute. Now, multiply that by six, provide each triple gun mount with a basic TV camera, and 1,000 AP rounds per gun. This provides Kampe with the capability to transform just about any ground target into a beehive.
Upgrades[]
A) Improved Propellers
To provide Kampe with better engine efficiency, it receives a six-blade curved propellers, raising it to C-130J-engine standard. This provides Kampe with 10% more range and 5% more speed.
Armor[]
Being a transport aircraft, Kampe is only protected by a basic ECM suite and a plethora of chaff and flares. However, it is more maneuverable that it looks.
Propulsion[]
Kampe is powered by four Allison T56-A-15 turboprop engines. They produce enough power to push the aircraft at 370mph for the next 3,200 kilometers.
