OWS 120mm Field Gun

The standard defensive anti-tank weapon of warlord armies.

Originally built as a tank cannon, OWS converted unused barrels into towed anti-tank guns and proceeded to sell them to the warlords of UEC Zones. However, it's hard to find one in full kit after one month of usage - the gun shield mysteriously ends up melted for scrap, the tractor ends up converted into a technical, and the sight gets busted. Still, it's a big gun, and once the warlords get some proper care for this unit, it gets downright lethal.

1 Gun (6 Operators)

Capacity[]

The cannon crew lugs around ammunition and the gun itself.

Sensors[]

The cannon crew gets binoculars and (if it isn't busted) can use the cannon's 4.5x magnification sight to target and attack enemy vehicles.

Weaponry[]

OWS L/44 120mm (1)[]

Originally manufactured by Oceanic Weapon Systems for use in newly-made M1OC Abrams tanks, the tank went out of production as the UEC united most of the southern hemisphere and switched to the monstrous 203mm cannon. When the warlord armies wanted something cheap to fend off tanks, OWS put the tank onto a towed carriage, slapped on a basic magnified scope, wielded on a gun shield, and sold them to the warlords. The gun, although outdated, is still powerful enough to handle light armored vehicles with hardened steel APFSDS rounds.

Upgrades[]

Equipment[]

Fieldcraft[]

In order to successfully ambush enemy vehicles (as anti-tank guns always need to do), their crews can be trained to dig out a small entrenchment, set up camouflage netting, and cover the position with objects from the environment. This makes it far less easy to spot.

Protection[]

A thin gun shield (if present) can deflect 12.7mm rounds.

Locomotion[]

Although it can be propelled by human power, it needs a vehicle to properly move around.
