Equipment Specialists

Relatively well-trained professional soldiers of wealthier warlords. They mostly originate from the Middle East.

4 Men/Squad

Capacity[]

Specialists carry ammunition, one first aid kit per squad, and a shovel for entrenchment purposes.

Sensors[]

Sunglasses-covered eyeballs, earplug-muffed ears.

Weaponry[]

ASCAR-I +AGL-40 (2)[]

The ASCAR rifle was born out of need when WW3 erupted. To stay with the superpowers in terms of small arms, South Africa decided to develop a next-generation assault rifle. The first generation of the rifle family is a gas-operated 5.56mm x 40mm assault rifle that has a free-floating 16' barrel and a Milkor Rail above the handle/ ironsights of the weapon. It also has a folding stock, which makes it convenient for in close combat. A variety of add-on accessories like Eotech optics, magnifiers, red dot sights, laser pointers, flashlights, and grips are available for each weapon; here, they get an underbarrel 40mm grenade launcher.

Milkor SAW (2)[]

A modification of the M249, the Milkor SAW simplifies the firing mechanism to make the weapon more resistant to sand, dirt, and water. This vastly improves reliability, making it more suitable for extreme conditions. Drawing from a 200-round box magazine, the Milkor SAW fires 5.56mm rounds at 900 rounds a minute.

Upgrades[]

Equipment[]

NBC protection[]

To survive in the “salted” parts of the world, Specialists can be allotted NBC protection in the form of a full-body skin-tight suit and a gas mask.

Protection[]

Specialists get Savior-1 Body armor, a widely manufactured and used body armor by the non-belligerents of WW3. It provides protection from 7.62mm NATO rounds from a minimum distance of 100 meters.

Locomotion[]

Specialists march on their feet. Which limits them to relatively slow speed and limited endurance. Therefore, they are normally transported to their battlefields in carrier vehicles.
